My husband and I were sitting around, eleven o'clock at night, when there was a bang from upstairs. My daughter cried out. My husband ran up there to find that while Sophia was trying to annoy her brother, she fell out his bed and hit her face on the Adventure's Castle.
Yeah. So she came downstairs, sobbing, saying, "Mom. I got a good one!"
Now all of our Thanksgiving photos will have my daughter with a black eye. Sigh.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

She's so cute. I love how you gave her a cookie to make it feel better. LOL
Oh, poor Sophia! :(
Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving anyway!!!
Aw... thank you, girls! The bruise is even more gnarly this morning. But hey, more memories....
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
Oh, she is super cute. Even with the shiner. maybe take her to see Bolt? It's an adorable film.
Oh! Poor kid. She's awfully cute, even with a black eye, tho!
Awe. If it makes you feel better, I spent a particularly memorable Easter (when I was 4) with the right side of my face comepletely covered in a juicy fresh scab from temple to smile. I thought it would be an awesome idea to ride my brother's skateboard down the street on my stomach. Needless to say, I went flying off the board and straight onto my face. And now I have a great set of family pictures to remember it by. My mom still laughs about it to this day.
Do you really think that rewarding your daughter's nefarious nocturnal activity with processed sugar is the answer?! I think it makes the Little Baby Jesus cry.
OMG. I love that sad-but-still-going-to-eat-a-cookie face!
