So I narrowed it down to three. Care to vote? I have my fave. Which one's yours? I'm feeling overly critical and have decided to shave my head and never eat again. You know, the usual after pictures feeling. lol. Luckily they'll be in black and white and everyone looks better in black and white.

Number Two! The angle is flattering, the lighting perfect, and your hair is very in-place. I don't know why the last one was such an important picture quality to me, but it was.
And picture taking should make you feel glamorous and beautiful! You know, "Strike a pose! The camera loves you!" and all that. Eat chocolate and revel in your beauty!
The last one with the purpley shirt. Looks great!
I like the third one best with the purplish shirt. I think it will look best in black and white.
Ooh, I have to say hands down it's number Two. I love the first one next. But I have to disagree with the last (sorry if that is the one you chose as well). I just thought it looked a little like a senior photo...although for the book it may be perfect. I just think the second one and top one looks like an artist!
And of course the second one has your FAVORITE angle am I right??! lol. The reason the second is next for me is it looks a lot more carefree and unpolished. :) I like that too.
Sorry typo...I meant to say why I chose the first one next was the carefree look. That was probably confusing.

#1!! It looks the most alive and genuine. The lighting is better (and your hair is more in place :) ) in #2, but I love the way your hair is flying--just a little--in #1. #3 would be best for something serious, but hey, you're a YA author, right? :)
I clicked through from Google Reader less to comment myself than to read what other people had voted for. Interesting how it's not at all clear cut.
My vote is for #2 because I think your hair looks most excellent and your smile is genuine.

I go with Suzanne Young photo # 2. I think Suzanne Young # 1 is the loveliest photo, however I feel # 2 may be the better photo for a book. But what do I know, I'm a guy! Worse, I am a bad photographer. As long as you are happy, I am sure the world will be happy too. Go with the one YOU like best.
Definitely #1. You look so happy and alive, and the outdoor setting is awesome.
