3 DAYS TO LA SCBWI--I'm keeping the countdown in case you forget...
So I handed in my second book in The Naughty List series last week. I hope to have a cover for you soon. And while I wait for the next step, I'm working on something new. Well, actually I'm working on two somethings, but one more than the other. Besides The Naughty List. Yeah, I like to stay busy.
Anyway, just thought I'd share a line of two from the work in progress--since we're waiting for the exciting SCBWI posts where I harass...er... I mean interview authors and report the highlights of the trip! Oh, the new book: Here's the way the MC describes herself:
Me—sitting here in a plaid schoolgirl outfit with my hair perfectly combed into a sharp, blonde bob. Me—only needing ribbons at this point to become a walking cliché.
Horribly out of context? Yes. But I can't give away the plot! Okay, have a great day!
