I'm so excited.... about Wordstock!

I'm one of those writers who gets fixated on things. Whether it's obessing about a cover or a book trailer, there is always something (or several somethings) that I WANT. Like WANT WANT. And so today was an awesome day!!

I've wanted to be a speaker at Wordstock--an awesome literary festival here in Portland--since I attended it two years ago. For me it was one of those, "I wish I wish I wish" things. Today, I was INVITED TO SPEAK THERE!!



Omg, yay, right??? I'm so unspeakably excited about this. Of course, right after I said yes, I thought, WAIT!? What am I going to talk about for 45 minutes????

Well, I'll have some time to think about it since the festival is October 8-9th. But I'll keep you posted on my increasing anxiety and social disorder leading up to the event!

A sneak peek at the A Need so Beautiful trailer!

The fantastic VLC Productions is doing the book trailer for A NEED SO BEAUTIFUL as I type! Well, sort of. It's in post production--but Vania was kind enough to send me some stills from the photo shoot yesterday

And since we all know I'm a patient, mature and classy lady, I will just say that they were lovely. Thank you.
